Systems & Database Administrator

Location: Dubuque, IA – On Site

Wage Range: $70k -$80k+ / year

Job Type: Full-Time / Monday – Friday / Direct Hire

We are looking for a Systems & Database Administrator to join our client’s IT team. This role supports our ERP system, databases, EDI integrations, and IT infrastructure while providing technical support to end users. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong technical expertise across systems, databases, and automation. This is a direct hire opportunity and the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and eligible for their robust benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support ERP system (Workwise).
• Manage SQL Server databases, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
• Oversee EDI transactions and integrations with customers and vendors.
• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking.
• Maintain security, patch management, and system upgrades.
• Support enterprise labeling solutions
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, VBA, SQL, etc.).
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems or Database Administrator (ERP/SQL/EDI preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and database-driven apps.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Workwise).
• Familiarity with EDI and Access databases.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (PowerShell, Python, VBA, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
