Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive dump trucks to transport materials to various job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper placement and weight distribution.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members regarding material needs and site conditions.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies while on the road and at job sites.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and track mileage and fuel usage as required.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on dump trucks when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate equipment in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
