Job Description

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (DOE)
  • Monthly Bonuses based on performance
  • Origination Bonus: A percentage of any matter you bring into the firm

Compensation:

$90,000 - $125,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets
  • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
  • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
  • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
  • Assist clients with estate administration process, whether probate or trust administration.
  • Experience helping business owners plan succession plans.
  • Experience with guardianship/conservatorship proceedings.
Qualifications:
  • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
  • Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is required
  • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
  • Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
  • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
