Position Description:

The Financial Reporting Accountant will serve as a key member of the Financial Reporting team and will be responsible for assisting with the month-end close process, and the preparation of timely financial statements for clients. This position is in our Northwest Houston, Texas office with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following (as needed):

• Support and prepare required accounting journal entries
• Develop reports and provide analysis for clients and staff
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis and account reconciliations
• Support the financial reporting close process
• Meet clients closing schedule

Qualifications:

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the finance and reporting related activities. Experience within the Oil & Gas value chain or Public Accounting will be a plus.
• Must have strong professional presence and effective verbal/written communication.
• Exceptional time-management, planning and administrative skills are required.
• Proficiency with BOLO and Excel is preferred.
