Job Description

LHH is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and excellent analytical skills. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Perform variance analysis and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Fully onsite; Monday - Friday
• $70,000 - $80,000
