About the Role: The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, mechanical repairs, and overall efficiency of the company’s fleet of vehicles. They will be at the forefront in managing all maintenance personnel for a smooth and efficient operation. Their leadership will cultivate a work environment that fosters driver success and satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the overall success of TowerEV. Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager

Department: Fleet
Reports to: Fleet Director

Annual Salary: $68,000

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Fleet Oversight and Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance, mechanical repairs, and overall efficiency of the company’s fleet of vehicles.
    • Manage a continuous maintenance program for fleet vehicles.
    • Ensure all maintenance record data is kept up to date with the help of the fleet software department.
    • Control the acquisition and inventory of parts, supplies, equipment, tools, hardware, and software.
    • Order urgent or emergency parts and supplies as needed.

  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure the safe operation of all fleet vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
    • Enforce and supervise the safety of division personnel.
    • Keep the roadside assistance vehicle ready to be deployed at any time as needed.

  • Collaboration and Support
    • Cooperate with other fleet divisions as necessary.
    • Provide support for overall operations.

General Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
  • Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis.
  • Experience in Fleet management is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance. 
  • Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations.
  • $40 personal phone reimbursement eligibility depending on position will be issued monthly. 

Communication Channels:

  • Email; a towerev, towermobility, or towerwav email will be assigned to you.
  • Dialpad; for making outward calls or receiving inward calls based on department.
  • Microsoft teams; for internal communication between employees.

Technology:

  • Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively.
  • Preferred intermediate knowledge on all Microsoft Applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions.
  • General to Proficient knowledge of ADP depending on job position.
  • Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company.
  • Abide by the company’s cybersecurity policies.

  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Meet applicable productivity standards.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by TowerMobility.
