Fleet Manager

Warren, MI (100% on site)

$80K - $100K

Overview: Seeking a Fleet Manager with 5+ years of mechanic experience to oversee a fleet of 100+ trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring preventative maintenance in house.

Must Haves:

  • 5 years of mechanic experience
  • Preventative maintenance expertise
  • Willingness to learn the administrative side of fleet management

Fleet to be Managed:

  • 100+ trucks and heavy equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, semis, tractors, trailers, excavators, skid steers, and bulldozers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance
  • Proven ability to manage and maintain a large fleet of trucks and heavy equipment
  • Willingness to learn and handle administrative tasks related to fleet management
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and management of a fleet of 100+ trucks and heavy equipment
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address mechanical issues
  • Administrative tasks related to fleet management, including record-keeping and compliance
