Job Description

Our client a Midtown hedge fund is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Entry Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. With success, the position can become permanent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating and managing account- and contact-level data within CRM systems. The data is both structured and unstructured. The candidate should have a general understanding of databases and methodical attention to detail.

Job Details

Position: Junior Data Entry Specialist

Location: Midtown Manhattan

Hybrid Schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office - Thursday and Friday remote

Hours: 9am-5pm

Salary - 80k-100k plus benefits

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter account- and contact-level data in Salesforce
• Identify, verify, and correct data inconsistencies
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality at all times
• Assist with data cleanup, validation, and standardization
• Retrieve data from Salesforce and Cvent (conference platform; we can provide training) and organize data in spreadsheets for reports as requested
• Communicate effectively with team members to clarify information and ensure goals are being achieved
• Follow the Teams’ guidelines and quality standards for data entry

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, sorting, and filtering)
• Data Management Systems (Salesforce, Cvent)
• Basic familiarity with cloud-based platforms (Sharepoint, Dropbox)
• 1+ years of experience in data entry, administrative work, or a similar role preferred
