Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm, responsible for settling and recording millions of transactions daily, identifying and mitigating operational risks, developing strong client relationships, and partnering with technology to fully realize IT and e-solution potentials. The department continually seeks improvements while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures, and markets.
Capital Markets, Core Processing, and Risk provide operational support to the Capital Markets business within Wealth Management. CMCPR has an embedded Change Control team in each silo responsible for managing both “Change the Bank” and “Run the Bank” change programs. The team works closely with Operations, IT, and Business stakeholders to analyze, define, and deliver technology and operational processes. Members are expected to take leadership roles and take personal accountability for delivering first-class solutions and products.
The Clearing & Settlement team for CMCPR interacts frequently with Business Specialists (Financial Advisors), Branch Management, Compliance, and Risk Teams. The team also serves as the liaison between the field and business units/trading desks, managing conflicting events throughout the day.
The team is responsible for supporting the trade lifecycle, including settlement across various asset classes and trade matching platforms. Candidates will perform suspense account reconciliation and balancing. The role involves heavy interaction with internal and external financial advisors, Core Settlements departments, trading desks, and external market centers/counterparties.
