Duties and Responsibilities
Community
Create a faith-filled environment for learners by:
Organize physical space for learning
Managing student behavior guided by Gospel values, eg;, respectful
Establishing classroom routines, rules, and procedures consistent with school policies
Communicating high expectations for learning
Creating a faith-filled environment that engages the whole student
Engagement
Assist students with locating books, using library resources, and answering inquiries.
Check books and other materials in and out using the library system.
Organize and shelve books, periodicals, and multimedia materials.
Assist with library programs, events, and community outreach.
Help maintain an orderly and quiet library environment.
Process new materials, update records, and manage overdue items.
Operate and assist patrons with computers, printers, and other library equipment.
Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry and inventory management.
Qualifications
Practicing Catholic
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Previous experience in a library or customer service role is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to use library software and basic office applications.
Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
