Job Description

Role: Litigation Paralegal (Temp to hire)

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)

Billable requirement: 800/year

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys by drafting contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and various legal documents
• Organize and review legal documents, ensuring accurate maintenance of privilege logs
• Create and manage witness and expert witness lists
• Organize exhibits and review pleadings for hearings and trials
• Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial, mediation, and arbitration preparation
• E-filing in WA state courts and within King County

Qualifications:

• Ability to do non-billable work as well as billable work with a positive attitude
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Willing to look at candidates who have done blended Legal Assistant and Paralegal work.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in Washington State.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation procedures, deadlines, and court rules (state and federal).
• Proficiency in legal drafting and writing.
