• Improve equipment reliability through preventive/predictive maintenance
• Build and lead high-performing maintenance/engineering team
• Drive cost-saving continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Distinguishing Competencies

• Write, Justify, and Execute capital projects of up to $1M
• Own a long-term asset improvement strategy for the plant
• Lead technical capability at the site and development of SME’s
• Preventive and predictable maintenance
• Ability to align maintenance strategies with overall business goals and long-term asset health.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability, including use of tools like FMEA, RCM, and RCA.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop others, and influence senior leaders and frontline employees alike.
• Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in driving change and continuous improvement in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Key Experience/Skills

•Direct experience in paperboard converting in consumer products industry.

•Experience with troubleshooting PLCs

•Plant startup experience

•Background in Lean, TPM, or similar programs

•Proven track record in engineering or facilities management within complex or multi-shift operations

•Demonstrated success in leading maintenance or engineering teams

•Advanced understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, manufacturing processes, and maintenance planning.

•Deep knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance

•Strong reliability tools expertise: FMEA, RCA, RCM
