We’re looking for a dynamic Nurse Educator to lead the way in supporting, developing, and inspiring our ED nursing team to deliver exceptional care in moments that matter most.

As the Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department, you’ll be at the forefront of staff development—designing innovative educational programs, mentoring new nurses, and ensuring clinical excellence throughout the department. Your role goes beyond teaching; it’s about empowering every team member to grow in confidence, skill, and leadership.

This is more than a teaching role—this is about shaping the future of emergency care in northern Nevada.

What You’ll Do:

• Champion staff education using adult learning principles, including hands-on, self-directed, and classroom learning
• Lead onboarding, continuing education, and professional development for ED nurses
• Collaborate across departments and disciplines to improve patient care and staff performance
• Apply evidence-based practice to clinical education and evaluation strategies
• Support compliance with regulatory and legal standards in clinical practice
• Serve as a role model and coach in clinical excellence, professional ethics, and compassionate care

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (required); Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum two years of clinical experience, preferably in the emergency specialty
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS certification by American Heart Association standards
