Pride Health is hiring a Retail Pharmacist to support our client’s medical facility in Zanesville, OH . This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Retail Pharmacist (RPh)

Location: Zanesville, OH 43701

Shift: Varied shifts, 40 hours/week (includes weekend and holiday rotation)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension.

Job Summary:

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals in a retail pharmacy environment. This role requires current retail-based experience and strong customer service skills to support patients and maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions according to federal and state regulations.
• Provide patient education, medication counseling, and vaccination services.
• Review prescriptions for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and oversee pharmacy technicians.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Operate and document all transactions in the RX30 pharmacy system (preferred).

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of current retail pharmacy experience .
• Vaccination certification at time of submission.

Preferred:

• Experience with the RX30 pharmacy management system.
