Oliver Inc. is seeking a skilled Prepress Technician to join our growing Prepress team . In this role, you'll play a key part in preparing customer files for print production using industry-standard desktop publishing and prepress software . You'll ensure all files meet quality standards for folding cartons, labels, and packaging projects, helping deliver exceptional results for our customers.

This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for print and packaging production.

About the Role:

As our Prepress Technician , you will:

• Prepare and modify customer-supplied files for print production using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and related prepress software.
• Perform file pre-flighting, color management, and proofing to ensure accuracy and quality before production.
• RIP and plot files for proofing and final output, ensuring correct color profiles and resolution.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for the creation of stamping dies, embossing dies, and other production needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Prepress Manager, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Conduct preflight checks, step-and-repeat layouts , and imposition for flexographic and offset printing.
• Manage file archiving, retrieval, and version control using company software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues quickly and effectively.

About You :

You're a fit for the role of Prepress Technician, if your background includes:

• 3–5 years of experience in prepress or printing operations (folding cartons or labels preferred).
• Proficiency in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) , and RIP/imposition software.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or Packaging Design preferred.
• Strong understanding of color management, resolution, and print production standards .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Solar Soft/CRC or similar production systems a plus.
