Job Overview:

A forward-thinking geotechnical solutions provider is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of ground improvement projects in Houston, TX. The role involves overseeing project scheduling, contract negotiations, budgeting, and quality control, with a focus on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for infrastructure development. This is a key leadership position, ideal for someone passionate about driving project success while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, promoting a culture of safety across all project teams.
  • Create and manage detailed project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage project finances, while fostering strong client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Supervise field operations to guarantee quality control and successful project completion.
  • Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to align project execution with client goals and company objectives.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and other business development events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing geotechnical or construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% of the time.
