Join a leading processing and prepared foods facility as a key player in keeping our production environment running at peak performance. We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair critical cooling systems essential to food safety and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems used in poultry processing and cold storage
• Monitor temperature controls in processing and storage areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and EPA regulations
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of industrial or commercial HVAC/R experience (food processing preferred)
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Knowledge of ammonia systems (a plus, but not required)
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in cold and damp environments typical of food production
