Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Health Screener is responsible for screening all individuals who enter one of South Texas Health System’s facilities for COVID-19 symptoms and risk of exposure. The Health Screener is also responsible for customer service. It is vital that the Health Screener exhibit our ACE-IT values. Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm, Innovation, and Teamwork. The Health Screener is the face of our health system. They are the first person that a patient, visitor, employee, or physician will interact with. Their interaction will set the path for the experience.  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      6 months of customer service experience preferred

2.      Bilingual English & Spanish speaking preferred

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1.      High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required.
