Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead and manage complex mechanical projects within the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are followed.
- Oversee the design and installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and progress reports.
- Implement and uphold OSHA safety standards throughout all phases of the project.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members in project execution and management best practices.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- OSHA certification and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
