Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site presence as needed)

Contract Duration: Full-Time Contract (6 months, with high potential for extension)

Overview:

Brooksource is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale, high-visibility enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong IT background, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage complex, high-impact projects involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
  • Multi-Project Oversight: Oversee several concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules with multiple critical paths.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication: Provide clear, consistent updates to executive leadership and project teams through reports and presentations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution to maintain project momentum.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Methodology Application: Apply project management best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Lean, and change management.
  • Data & Reporting: Compile, interpret, and present project data to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years managing large enterprise-level projects.
  • IT Background: Strong understanding of IT systems and development methodologies (e.g., DevOps).
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification (highly preferred).
  • Methodologies: Experience with Agile, Lean, or change management in complex environments (highly desired).
  • Tools: Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Flexibility: Ability to work remotely with occasional on-site presence as required.
  • Industry Versatility: Experience managing projects across diverse industries is a plus.
