SR OPEX ENGINEER

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operational Excellence Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage operational excellence projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Conduct training and workshops on Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools.
• Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives and their impact on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in operational excellence.
• Understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, EUMDR or USDA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Medical Device, Pharma or Food experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
