INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:

Our internship program is a dynamic group of emerging, high potential rising university seniors who will have the opportunity to participate in a 10-week summer internship at the World’s Leading Fragrance Specialty Retailer.

This internship will provide the opportunity for a comprehensive view of the various functional areas within specialty retail. You will have the opportunity to work along-side and learn from BBW associates who will provide training, development and engagement of your function and our Brand.

PROGRAM AREA:

Store Design & Construction Overview:

Support the design team in a multitude of projects based on studio goals. This position focuses on learning design processes, interacting with team members, and building a strong foundation of Bath & Body Works Design standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in special projects as needed which may include: working with manager updating design materials, creating material boards, fixture development, design presentations.
• Create presentation decks using Photoshop and InDesign.
• Create storefront rendering for brand or landlord approvals using Sketchup or Photoshop.
• Gain experience laying out a store for schematic design intent and reviewing development and construction drawing set; working with Designer learn our design process.
• Work on new design development documents that can be presented to international and external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University current juniors pursuing their bachelor’s degree and in good academic standing
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week during summer 2025
• May 27th-August 1st (required dates) No extended PTO
• Computer fluency with programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• AutoCAD and Photoshop experience preferred.
• InDesign and SketchUp experience preferred
• Hand sketching and rendering skills.
• Innate curiosity and desire to learn, strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Have a strong passion for retail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous internship, customer service or leadership experience
• Ability to manage through conflict and problem-solve
• Strong communication and presentation skills; can concisely present complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
