Temporary Executive Assistant (Oct–Jan, Potential Full-Time Office Manager Transition)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (in-office Monday - Friday)

Pay: $30-$33 per hour

Position Overview:

Sleepyhead, the #1 rated college mattress topper company, is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Temporary Executive Assistant to support our CEO from October through December. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can handle a wide range of administrative responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. Based on performance and company needs, this position may transition into a full-time Office Manager role .

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support:

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, and priorities.
  • Prepare and organize materials for executive meetings and presentations.
  • Handle correspondence and communications with confidentiality and professionalism.

Office Operations:

  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Assist in maintaining office procedures, systems, and vendor coordination.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Support Staff Oversight (as needed):

  • Provide direction and support for office staff.
  • Monitor progress to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an executive assistant, office administration, or similar role.
  • Experience in managing office operations or supporting senior leadership is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Contract Details:

  • Term: October–January (4 months)
