Role Description

Lumida Wealth is seeking a highly driven and adaptive Trader to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for studying markets, excel in high-pressure environments, and bring a proven track record of generating their own Profit & Loss (P&L). This role requires an “athletic” mindset, mental flexibility, and disciplined processes—along with the ability to pivot and learn quickly in fast-evolving market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret market trends to inform trading strategies.
  • Execute trades with precision and efficiency in a high-pressure environment.
  • Continuously monitor and assess financial news, social media, and market data.
  • Develop and refine trading processes to optimize performance.
  • Document trading decisions and rationale with clarity and detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and enhance strategies.

Requirements

  • Several years of trading experience with a demonstrated personal P&L.
  • Deep enthusiasm for studying markets and identifying opportunities.
  • Prolific consumer of news with a strong ability to synthesize information.
  • Social media savvy, leveraging platforms for real-time market insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for analysis and documentation.
  • Athletic mindset: competitive, resilient, and energized by challenges.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Exceptional process discipline and attention to detail.
  • Mental flexibility to pivot strategies and manage risk effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to document trading views and rationales in a clear, structured manner.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Preferred Qualities

  • Proficiency with trading platforms, tools, and technology (e.g., Bloomberg, Python, or similar).
  • A curious and proactive approach to uncovering new market edges.
  • Emotional stability to handle volatility and high-stakes decisions.
  • Time management skills to balance analysis, execution, and reflection.
  • A passion for continuous self-improvement and professional growth.

Why Join Lumida?

  • Be part of a dynamic and innovative company at the cutting edge of finance.
  • Work with a passionate and talented team dedicated to transforming wealth management.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.

At Lumida, you will join a team that values the holistic growth of both clients and employees. We offer an environment conducive to continuous learning, intellectual development, and impactful community engagement—all built on a foundation of exceptional investment expertise.
