SUMMARY
In Sutherland Packaging, Inc., Truck Drivers are responsible for ensuring all products are safely and courteously delivered, with all documentation recorded and confirming visual inspection. Truck Drivers make an important contribution to meeting customer commitments and are the face of Sutherland to the customer and to others on the roads. As part of this very important “ambassador” role, Truck Drivers are courteous and respectful at all times and remember that they are representing the company. Truck Drivers work as a cooperative team and report to Sutherland’s Shipping Manager.
Every Truck Driver demonstrates through his or her skills, attitude and behavior responsibility for safely and efficiently supporting in full, on time, quality production and delivery by Sutherland Packaging. Truck Drivers are responsible for keeping their tractors and trailers clean and organized and for ensuring all documentation for their vehicles is accurate, current and available in the vehicle. Every Truck Driver demonstrates respect for others and respect for property at all times at Sutherland, treating others as they would like to be treated. Each employee at Sutherland is also expected to provide any recommendations when appropriate to improve your work and improve safety, efficiency and quality overall at Sutherland Packaging.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 40 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
