Overall Responsibility:

As a vital member of the Supply Chain management team, the warehouse supervisor is responsible for the people, processes and systems that ensure accurate delivery, receipt and storage of warehouse items.

The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that standards of quality, health, safety and freshness of all products are maintained. This is a working supervisory position requiring hands-on performance of the day-to-day tasks of the warehouse staff.

Role Description:

• Manages the overall organization of the warehouses and warehouse teams by making sure members are regularly briefed, supervised and trained.
• Ensures accurate real time inventory of all finished goods and components.
• Maintains computerized warehouse and inventory control systems and ensures all warehouse equipment is kept in good working order.
• Investigates and reports all discrepancies, damages and returns.
• Perform other duties and cross training as assigned.
• Manages the creation of an effective nest run pallet list that integrates proper inventory management with daily quality and production requirements.
• All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality Assurance Manager or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.

Role Requirements:

• Egg processing experience preferred but not required
• 3 years related warehouse, logistics or material handling experience required
• 2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to lead, mentor and motivate people.
