Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician located in Bakersfield, CA. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves implementing behavior plans, collecting data on client performance, supporting skill acquisition, and working closely with a BCBA to ensure the effectiveness of interventions. Additional responsibilities include communicating with team members and caregivers regarding client progress.

Qualifications

• Skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
• Strong Communication abilities and Behavioral Intervention skills
• Background in Psychology or related field
• Excellent observational and analytical skills
• Ability to engage with children and families in a compassionate and professional manner
• Experience in using ABA techniques and principles is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is beneficial
• Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling
