Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infor M3 Finance Functional Consultant to support an organization preparing for UAT, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization. This role will work directly with Accounting and Finance teams to guide users through core financial processes, document procedures, identify system gaps, and coordinate fixes with the implementation partner.
Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on training for Accounting and Finance users across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Inventory Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and step-by-step work instructions.
• Lead users through functional walkthroughs and explain end-to-end transaction flows.
• Create UAT scenarios and scripts; guide users through test cycles and validate results.
• Identify gaps and issues; document clear requirements for the implementation partner.
• Support GL configuration, internal accounting rules, AP/AR processing, bank reconciliation, fixed asset activities, cost rolls, and period-end close routines.
• Assist with reconciliation of inventory, WIP, clearing accounts, and internal accounting.
• Validate financial integrations and confirm correct accounting impacts.
• Provide go-live and hypercare support, including troubleshooting and month-end assistance.
Requirements
• 5+ years of Infor M3 functional experience in Finance and Accounting modules.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
• Experience supporting UAT, go-live, and post-implementation efforts.
• Ability to create training materials and detailed financial process documentation.
• Strong understanding of finance operations, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical end users.
