Job Description

The Offsite Inventory and Operations Coordinator will oversee the daily shipping, receiving, and inventory management of .com returns from Bloomingdale’s and Saks. This role involves coordinating the redistribution of returned merchandise from various locations, managing stock levels, and maintaining an efficient off-site satellite stock room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping for .com returns from Bloomingdale’s and Saks.
  • Ensure returned products are accurately received, checked for correctness, and processed in a timely manner.
  • Handle returns from multiple locations

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with the inventory team to track and update stock levels, ensuring product availability for resale or redistribution.
  • Working with merchandising to ensure products are properly reshuffled, maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

Coordination and Logistics:

  • Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the timely return and redistribution of inventory across various retail locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for issues related to returns, redistribution, or inventory discrepancies.

Off-Site Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the off-site warehouse located at Short Hills Mall, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preparation of products for redistribution or return to stock.
  • Report directly to the Omnichannel Concessions Manager, providing regular updates on inventory status, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Ensure clear communication between warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate returns and stock management.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain an organized environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and proper handling of returns.
  • Inventory Management: Experience with inventory tracking, product returns, and redistribution processes.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ability to collaborate with logistics teams and manage the flow of merchandise across various locations.
  • Independent Worker: Able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or warehouse management.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, or logistics is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
