A celebrated, chef-owned artisanal cake company—recognized among the best bakeries in New York—is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join their passionate, close-knit team.

About the Role:

Based in a vibrant commissary kitchen in North Salem, NY (Upstate Westchester), the Pastry Chef will work closely with ownership to support daily production, seasonal product development, and research and development projects.

You'll be joining a humble, hardworking team that prides itself on craftsmanship, creativity, and a love of the pastry arts—where your contributions will truly make an impact.

What We’re Looking For:

• A kind, positive, and highly motivated individual eager to learn and grow
• Experience in cake production and pastry fundamentals (extensive experience not required!)
• A collaborative spirit ready to work side-by-side with ownership on creative projects
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required
• Ability to thrive in a small team environment and take ownership of your craft
• Open to candidates willing to drive or relocate (relocation assistance may be available)

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually (based on experience)
• Bonus: Performance bonus awarded after 12 months of employment
• Schedule: 5 days/week | Approximately 8:00 AM–6:00/7:00 PM (~55 hours/week)
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks vacation
• Benefits: Not currently offered, but potential for future implementation
• Creative Involvement: Significant opportunity to contribute to R&D and new product innovation
